Mr. Smith lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he is a real estate broker, investor and ‘wanna- be’ artist and writer. “In my private life, sketching, painting and writing fulfills my brains need to create and keep busy. I try as hard in creating something interesting as I do at being a better husband, father and business man. I'm getting better at all things - it takes practice.” 

In 1991, a short story he wrote about his father was included in the book Angel Letters, by Sophie Burnham.  He also created, illustrated and published “The Big Branson Coloring Book."  He has written many short stories and articles for ClevelandSeniors.com, PikersPress.com, The Branson Globe, OnBeingHuman.com and other e-magazines.

In July of 2025, he organized a group of artists to start Street SmARTs Studios & Gallery in Oklahoma City. Mr. Smith is married, has a blended family of five moderately adjusted adult children despite their public-school education. He also has several grandkids - a few of which are actually adorable.
